THAT’S AMORE: THE 2021 ITALIAN WINE GUIDES & THE ST. MAGDALENER

Every year at this time the most prestigious Italian wine guides are published! The most classic wine ambassador of South Tyrol from the autochthonous Vernatsch/Schiava family and Lagrein also received numerous awards this year.

The St. Magdalener Classico AnnVer 2018 from Pfannenstielhof, the St. Magdalener Classico Isarcus 2018 from Griesbauerhof and the St. Magdalener Classico Antheos 2019 from Ansitz Waldgries received two awards. The famous three glasses were awarded to the St. Magdalener Classico 2019 from Ansitz Waldgries. Other awards were received by Untermoserhof each for the Classico 2019 and Classico Hub 2018, the Bozen/Bolzano Winery for the Classico Huck am Bach 2019, the Erbhof Unterganzner for the Classico Heilmann 2018 and the Pfannenstielhof for the Classico 2019.

The success and recognition for the core zone “Classico” underlines the appreciation as a “real South Tyrolean wine ambassador”. The combination of the Bozen/Bolzano territory, autochthonous grape varieties and a passionate winemaking culture, which is also strongly lived in the new generation, gives hope for many more such successes.
